The Contact Lens Fitting
Once your eye exam with Dr. Randhawa is complete, Makayla will guide you through the contact lens fitting and trial.
The fitting process is necessary to ensure your contact lenses will fit comfortably every time you use them.
Using a tool called a keratometer, we carefully measure the curvature of your cornea, the clear dome over the front of the eye. A keratometer can also measure astigmatism, which can be corrected with specialty contact lenses.
New contact lens wearers will go through Legacy Eye Care’s Full Fit 7 Training to show you how to put in your contacts and properly care for them.
Trial Lenses
You will then be sent home with a trial pair of contact lenses. If you like how they fit and feel, we’ll order a supply for you to pick up at the office. They usually arrive within 3 to 4 business days.
Sometimes it takes some trial and error to find the perfect contact lenses. With the number of brands, types, and styles of lenses available, we’re confident your ideal pair is out there!
Always let us know about any issues you’re experiencing so we can make the necessary adjustments. We want to ensure your vision remains crisp and clear, and your eyes remain healthy and happy.
