The Contact Lens Fitting Process
Once your eye exam is complete, we’ll guide you through a personalized contact lens fitting. This is where we match your eye’s shape and vision needs with the right type of lens. During your fitting, you can expect:
- Corneal measurements: Using a keratometer, we measure the curve of your cornea to provide a proper lens fit.
- Astigmatism assessment: If you have astigmatism, we’ll determine if toric lenses are the right choice for you.

If you’re new to contacts, you’ll go through Legacy Eye Care’s Full Fit 7 Training, where we teach you how to insert, remove, and care for your lenses safely and confidently.
Trial Lenses & Follow-Ups
You’ll leave your fitting with a trial pair of contact lenses to test out at home. If they feel good and give you clear vision, we’ll order a full supply for you.
Finding the perfect pair sometimes takes a little trial and error. That’s normal, and we’re here to help every step of the way. If you notice any discomfort or vision issues, just let us know and we’ll adjust your lenses until they’re just right.
